July was a packed month. Please prepare for photo overload.
The Murrays came to visit at the beginning of July. It was so great to see them and spend time together. We stayed busy!
The kids were excited to celebrate Grandma Tammy's birthday.
Reese was in the Sandwich Freedom Days parade with her t-ball team. She was so excited to have all of her family there watching (Chuck and Mary were there too, I just don't have a picture of them!).
We came back to our house for the afternoon. The grade school playground meets our backyard, and it's one of our favorite things about our new home.
We went to watch Naperville's fireworks that night. The kids had fun with sparklers while we waited for them to start.
We went down to Princeton on Sunday and had a great day with family.
On Monday, we took the kids to Blackberry Farms.
Reese turned 5 on July 17th. She had a great birthday. We spent the morning with friends at the splash pad.
I took my gal pal for a birthday mani/pedi. She LOVED being pampered. :)
We had a Toy Story birthday party for the kiddos.
We had a staycation in the city. We enjoyed being downtown for a few days. We had definitely missed Chicago and it was great to be back in the heart of the city!
The kids got a butterfly kit for their birthdays. We received caterpillars in the mail, and watched them grow and eventually become butterflies that we released. It was so cool!
We were able to watch several of them hatch. It was amazing to watch the process of them coming out!!!!
Reese held her arms out in hopes that one of the butterflies would land on her.
We got Reese registered for Kindergarten. She loved buying her school supplies and organizing them.
This kid. The hilarity never stops.
And last but not least, Reese got her first library card!!! She is so excited to have her own card to check out books.
