Fall Fun!

September has come and gone! :)  My mom headed down to Florida to visit my sister's clan, and she was missed around here.  We had fun having a Skype date one morning.

My happy, happy boy.

He loves playing with this lawnmower, but he only likes it on concrete and blacktop.  I think he's missing the point. :)

Have you heard Charlie say "bubbles"?  You're missing out.  It's the cutest thing ever.

Charlie loves peeking through our cat door.

A couple weeks ago, we let Reese stay up late for a campfire.  She got to roast her first marshmallow, and she had a blast.  She has asked every. single. night. since if we can have another one. :)

We met up with Greg, Lisa, Ryan, and Sara at Starved Rock so I could take Ryan's senior pictures.  Reese had so much fun.  She still talks about them and Starved Rock every day.

My guys melt my heart. :)

I feel like I never have photos of myself with the kiddos.  So, I did what any normal person would do...I set up the tripod and captured some special time with my little dude! :)

Just a couple of guys having a tea party and fighting over a baby.  Can you believe how big these two have gotten?!

We headed out to the pumpkin farm last weekend.  Funny enough, we never actually made it to the pumpkins.  There were too many other fun things to do!

Reese loved the corn maze!

The farm we go to has amazing apple cider slushies.  They are seriously delicious.

It was a liiiiiittle windy out at the farm, as you can tell from Charlie's sweet hair. :)

Charlie woke up with the craziest bed head the other day.  Photos just don't do it justice.

Charlie found a bowl of Chex that Reese had left on the ledge, and spilled them alllll over the place in an attempt to help himself.  Lucky for him, mama thought it would make a cute picture, so he got to sit and enjoy his cereal while I snapped away. :)

No more bedhead for this guy.  I finally got him a big boy hair cut.  :)

We had a family pizza night last night.  Reese made pizzas for everyone, and she did a great job.  She was so proud of her work. :)

We went outside to play while the pizzas baked.

Reese picked tomatoes from the garden.

Poor Charlie thought it was an apple, and he wasn't pleased.

Reese took Charlie back to the apple tree.  In this picture, it looks like we have a nice, impressive apple tree in our backyard.  Don't be fooled.  That's our neighbor's tree.  Now look closely.  You see those tiny little twigs coming out of the ground right about the kids' heads?  That's our tree. :)

There are two teeny tiny apples growing. :)

And finally, our pizza was ready.

  1. Adorable as always! I love Charlie's big boy haircut and the expressions on his face as he finds things to do. Reese is quite the cook. And she is as cute as she can be. Mama and Charlie photos are precious. Again, thanks for sharing, dear granddaughter.
